Speech and Language Therapist -Neuro Rehabilitation
Band 5/6 - Full time/Part time negotiable

We are currently looking for a proactive Speech and Language Therapist who has an interest in brain injury and the skills to work as part of an interdisciplinary team.  As well as working in the new hospital, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills in managing people with cognitive and social communication difficulties, those with high dependency needs and people with mild to moderate challenging behaviour.  Intervention is carried our within a cognitive rehabilitation framework and is goal focussed.   There are opportunities for both group and community based work.  You will also be expected to provide advice to other staff as they support the communication and swallowing needs of clients.

Regular mentoring and supervision with a supportive team will be provided.   Accommodation may be available.
