Description
We have vacancies for nurses within our hospital and homes across the site where our nurses specialise in rehabilitation for adults living with brain injury and other neurological conditions. In 2010 we opened an eight-bed purpose-built ward supporting level 3 critical care patients. We are developing services in critical care in the management of ventilated patients, ventilator and tracheostomy weaning. We offer preceptorships to newly qualified nurses.
Person Specification
To be involved in our neuro high dependency unit, you will have experience of caring with people with complex clinical problems including respiratory support, perhaps within an Intensive care, HDU or Spinal Unit. You will be expected to work with people receiving ventilatory support, working within an IDT and will be able to understand the emotional needs as well as physical needs of the people in your care.
Experience
Newly qualified nurses are encouraged as we offer preceptorship. Experience in acute or critical care settings - not essential for the right candidate.

Hours: Full time and part time hours are available, as well as bank work (full time is 40.5 hours per week, or more depending on shifts)
