Glenside to attend World Congress on Brain Injury

Glenside will be attending the Ninth World Congress on Brain Injury in Edinburgh to participate in debate on the latest developments in neuro rehabilitation.

The conference will gather the world’s top brain injury specialists and Glenside’s CEO, Andrew Norman, will attend as part of Glenside’s commitment to being at the forefront of research and development in the field.

Glenside provides a complete range of inpatient and outpatient medical care and rehabilitation services to adults who are living with severe physical, cognitive or behavioural impairments resulting from acquired or traumatic brain injury and other long-term neurological conditions.

Conference participants will have an opportunity to familiarise themselves with the latest research and developments on brain injury as 950 research paper abstracts have been submitted for presentation at the event. The event will also include educational presentations, panels and workshops, which provide attendees with a unique range of cutting-edge information about various aspects of brain injury.

Andrew Norman, CEO of Glenside Hospital, said: “Participation in this conference is crucial because it allows us to stay up-to-date with the latest developments within the field and provides an opportunity to exchange experiences with other top specialists from across the world. This is a testimony of our commitment to enhancing the wellbeing of our patients.”

The IBIA conference, held from March 21 to 25 in Edinburgh, is one of the most important events for brain injury specialists.
